Ram Gopal Verma has always believed in focussing on her item girls in the film's promotions than the lead actresses in the same. He followed the strategy successfully in focussing on Esha Koppikar in the 'Khallas' song while promoting his flick 'Company' in the past. He is doing the same for his forthcoming 'Department'. As such, Nathalia Kaur, the item girl in the flick, is hogging all the limelight in the promos of 'Department' while the lead actresses Anjana Sukhani, Lakshmi Manchu and Madhu Shalini are nowhere to be seen. RGV even organised an elaborate press conference just to introduce his new muse.
The fact has not gone down well with Anjana Sukhani who is feeling let down by this biased treatment of the producer. In a recent interview she said, "Honestly, yes, I am upset. I feel it is a little unfair. Actors are equally involved in the making of a film. If it is a failure, the actor is also considered a flop, and when a film is a hit, everybody is credited for the success. I am not saying that he is only promoting the item song. I say that every actor should get an equal share of being part of the publicity and promotion because they form an integral part of the film."
